Voter Registration
Greene County is divided into three voting districts: Stanardsville, Ruckersville and Monroe. Citizens vote in precincts according to where they live. The Monroe District includes Dyke and Swift Run, while Ruckersville and Stanardsville include their respective areas.

Monroe District polling places are:
Dyke Precinct - Dyke Fire House on Dyke Road

Swift Run Precinct - Greene County Tech School - Spotswood Trail ; Ruckersville District polling place is: Ruckersville Fire House - Spotswood Trail

Stanardsville District polling place:  Stanardsville Fire Station - 275 Celt Road

To be eligible to vote in local, state and federal elections, residents must register to vote. 

The Greene County Registrar is Sandra Shifflett. The office is located on Stanard Street behind the Court House complex. 985-5213
