NOTICES
Here are some ways you can help make Christmas a little more special for the elderly and low income families through The Food Pantry of Greene County. 1) “Christmas special dish:” Print your favorite Christmas dish recipe on a 4x6 card and put all of the ingredients to make it in a plastic bag. Mark boldly on the recipe whether it will feed a family of three, six, or nine (USDA requires bagging for a family unit in multiples of three). Tie the recipe card to the bag. 2) Hygiene items. Clients frequently ask for hygiene items, but the money you donate is used strictly for food. Gifts of toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath soap, razor blades, shaving cream, or deodorants and shampoo for both men and women would be appreciated. Call Carroll Sullivan at 434-962-0135 for more information.
